This item has really unsettled and un-nerved me. I am so shocked that this could happen in 2009. We appear to have absolutely no protection under the law at all.
My neighbour’s garden (field) is so full of rubbish and weeds that I decided that I did not want to see it. I planted a row of beautiful trees (2 years ago) This neighbour had the nerve to come to see me today to request that I cut the trees where they hung over into her midden! I pretended that I did not understand, but I am now wondering whether I might inadvertently broken “a law”
scary stuff!

there are no winners in this situation, both sides have lost honour and therefore credibility, the god of greed is feasting, beware, he will feast until there is nothing left. Both sides lose everything except money, what a devastating scenario. The god of greed will not stop feasting until he has eaten up the whole of cyprus. May your God help you all then you foolish peoples of this beautiful island. - About

Standard UK law I’m afraid, even more important if the roots undermine your neighbour’s house foundations.
What is so surprising about the shed story? In my opinion it sums up perfectly the situation in north Cyprus. Where the native people of a country have no power over their destiny nor control over their population, then nepotism and chaotic government are only to be expected.
Well, what do they expect living in a rogue corrupt and illegally occupied state.
next they’ll be wanting to go to the EU ha ha ha .
A bunch of carpet baggers whinging again, my my.
Didn’t you write this before, or at least someone like you? You’re not copying and pasting these phrases from a handbook are you?
Copying or pasting – Mr Ioannou makes a valid point to remind everyone in the north that the authorities cannot behave in this uncivilized manner. My family had the sense to sell out and move back to England two years ago.
