Deeds case – a buyer on the Seaterra development in Tatlısu has taken legal action after discovering a £2m mortgage had been placed on the site. She and her husband discovered 4 mortgages on the site which prevents them obtaining title deeds.

Cyprus ciitrus exports slump by half – north Cyprus citrus exports from the period 2007-2009 dropped from 112,000 to 53,000 tonnes. Potatoes dropped from 9,000 to 2,200 tonnes and grapes from 9.8 tonnes to nothing. This was blamed on reduced production rather than demand. EU grants were awarded in an attempt to remedy this.
